How Qatrat Deals with Sewage Water

Using advanced techniques, Qatrat converts treated sewage water into a sustainable source for agricultural water. The water is stored in special tanks to ensure a stable supply and quality control.

When it’s time to use treated sewage water in agricultural activities, water redistribution operations are carried out through a carefully designed irrigation network. Qatrat ensures providing efficient irrigation systems that achieve equal water distribution and maximize its utilization.

The use of treated sewage water in agricultural activities presents an excellent opportunity to conserve fresh water and preserve precious water resources. This process contributes to environmental sustainability and reduces pressure on natural water sources.

Qatrat is committed to providing comprehensive services for sewage water treatment and its use in agricultural activities in accordance with Libyan and international legal requirements and environmental conservation standards. We work on delivering customized and effective solutions to meet our clients’ needs and contribute to achieving sustainable development and high environmental health.

At Qatrat for Sewage Services, we strive to meet the requirements of the Libyan state and comply with international standards for sewage treatment and reuse. We consider sewage water as a valuable resource and work on transforming it into a sustainable resource that can be utilized in agricultural activities.

Qatrat primarily relies on Libyan requirements (MCL 2020: 766) and (MCL 2020: 967) and specific standards set by the Libyan government, which entail certain characteristics that must be met by wastewater generated from industrial activities and sanitary facilities. We use advanced techniques and methods to ensure the conversion of wastewater into water suitable for agricultural irrigation according to the standards specified in the Libyan requirements (MCL 2013: 770) required for treated sewage water for agricultural use.

The sewage water treatment process involves several important stages. Firstly, sewage water is collected from sanitary and industrial facilities and transported to our treatment plants. There, the water is treated using advanced physical, chemical, and biological techniques to remove impurities and contaminants.

Next, advanced processes are applied to purify the water and achieve high quality. The treated water is examined by our specialized team to ensure compliance with the required health and environmental standards.
